Accessing the Media Library

There are several ways to access your images:

1. Dedicated Media Page: Click Media in the sidebar
2. While Editing: Click the image icon in the editor, or click "Choose from Media" for hero images/logos
3. Uploading: Any of the above methods let you upload new images

Uploading Images

From the Media Page:

1. Go to Media in the sidebar
2. Click Upload
3. Select an image from your computer
4. Wait for the upload to complete

While Editing Content:

1. Click the image icon or "Upload" button
2. Select your image
3. The image uploads and is ready to use

Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG

Tips for images:

• Optimize images before uploading (smaller files load faster)
• Use descriptive file names (e.g., sunset-beach-hawaii.jpg not IMG_1234.jpg)
• Keep images under 2MB when possible

Using Images in Your Content

In posts and pages:

1. Place your cursor where you want the image
2. Click the image icon in the toolbar
3. Select an image from the Media Library
4. The image inserts into your content

As a hero image:

1. In the post editor, find the Hero Image section
2. Click Choose from Media
3. Select your image

As your logo or favicon:

1. Go to Settings
2. Under Branding, click Choose from Media
3. Select your image

Managing Your Media

The Media Library shows all your uploaded images in a grid.

For each image, you can see:

• Thumbnail preview
• Filename
• Dimensions (e.g., 1200x630)
• File size (e.g., 245 KB)

Actions available:

• View full size: Opens the image in a new tab
• Copy URL: Copies the direct link to your clipboard
• Delete: Removes the image permanently

Deleting Images

1. Go to Media in the sidebar
2. Hover over the image you want to delete
3. Click the Delete button (trash icon)
4. Confirm the deletion

Warning: If an image is used in a post or page, deleting it will leave a broken image in that content. Check where an image is used before deleting.
