Getting Started
Welcome to Xylo! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to create and manage your blog or website.
What is Xylo?
Xylo is a simple blogging platform that lets you create your own website in minutes. With Xylo, you get:
- Your own web address: Your site lives at
yoursite.xylo.gg(you choose the name) - A beautiful blog: Write posts, organize them with categories and tags
- Static pages: Create pages like About, Contact, or Services
- Full customization: Choose your colors, upload your logo, make it yours
- No technical skills required: Everything is point-and-click
Creating Your Account
Getting started with Xylo takes just a few minutes.
Step 1: Visit the Registration Page
Go to xylo.gg/register to begin.
Step 2: Enter Your Information
Fill in the registration form:

Click Continue to proceed.
Step 3: Set Up Your Site
Now you'll create your first site:

| Site URL | The web address for your site | janes-travel.xylo.gg |
The Site URL is automatically generated from your Site Name, but you can edit it. Your URL can only contain:
- Lowercase letters (a-z)
- Numbers (0-9)
- Hyphens (-)
Click Create Account to finish.
What happens next:
- Your account is created
- Your organization is set up
- Your first site is created
- A verification email is sent to you
Verifying Your Email
After registering, you'll need to verify your email address before you can log in.
- Check your inbox for an email from Xylo with the subject "Verify your Xylo account"
- Click the Verify Email button in the email
- You'll be redirected to Xylo and can now log in
Can't find the email?
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Wait a few minutes and check again
- Visit xylo.gg/resend-verification to request a new link
Note: Verification links expire after 24 hours. If your link has expired, request a new one.
Logging In
Once your email is verified:
- Go to xylo.gg/login
- Enter your email address
- Enter your password
- Click Sign In
You'll be taken to your dashboard where you can start building your site.
Dashboard Overview
The dashboard is your home base for managing your site. Here's what you'll see:
Top Navigation
- Your site name and logo
- Link to view your live site
- User menu (access profile, logout)
Sidebar Navigation
- Dashboard: Overview with stats and quick actions
- Posts: Create and manage blog posts
- Pages: Create and manage static pages
- Categories: Organize posts by topic
- Tags: Add keywords to posts
- Media: Upload and manage images
- Settings: Customize your site's appearance
- Profile: Update your account information
- Author: Edit your public author profile
- Billing: Manage your subscription
Dashboard Home
- Stats: See how many posts and pages you have
- Site Status: Whether your site is Live or Draft
- Quick Actions: Buttons to create posts, pages, or access settings
